Man Injured In Gunfire Exchange In Homewood: Police
Homewood police said two cars traveling south on Halsted exchanged gunfire early Saturday, causing one of the cars to crash.
HOMEWOOD, IL — A man was hospitalized early Saturday after he was injured in an exchange of gunfire between two cars in Homewood, according to police.
Authorities said Homewood police responded to a report of shots fire in the 18000 block of Halsted shortly before 1:40 a.m. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.
Investigators discovered the man was injured when two cars traveling south on Halsted exchanged gunfire, causing one of the cars to crash.

The man was taken to the hospital where police said he was in stable condition.
