Men Facing Separate Charges of Counterfeit Bill, Pill In Car
Cook County judge tells 20-year-old suspect, "I wish I could be 20 again."

Two men landed in bond court Monday on charges that one tried to pass phony C-notes and the other when a lone pill was found in their vehicle, prosecutors said.
Prosecutors said that Tommy Phillips, 24, of Hazel Crest, tried to pass counterfeit one-hundred dollar bills at Ross Dress Less and Kohl’s Department Store, both located in Orland Park Place.
After allegedly trying to pass the counterfeit bills, witnesses were able to provide a description of the vehicle that Phillips was riding in, prosecutors said.

Court records noted that the vehicle reeked of cannabis but no marijuana was found in the car. Police found a loose pill behind the driver’s seat, prosecutors said.
The driver of the vehicle, Rashaad Pratt, 20, of Park Forest, was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

The assistant public defender said that three other occupants were in Pratt’s car so ownership of the pill could not be determined.
“Youre 20? What I would give to be 20 again, just not in your shoes,” Judge Peter Felice told Pratt.
Phillips, a first-time offender, was released on his own recognizance on a $25,000 I-bond.
The judge set bail at $10,000 for Pratt and released him on an I-Bond. He also ordered urine drops.
“You got to stop doing that crap,” Judge Felice said.
