Metra Electric Line Beset by Power Problems Sunday Due to Snow
Trains stopped at Flossmoor and University Park stations as crews worked to repair the wires.
Metra Electric District trains were halted due to power problems caused by the heavy snow on Sunday morning. Train No. 805 outbound was stopped at the Flossmoor station and No. 806 inbound was halted at the University Park station, according to Metra. No. 806 experienced a 77-minute delay, said Metra.
Train No. 808 inbound on the Electric Line was delayed almost 30 minutes due to the earlier power line repairs that halted Train 805 in Flossmoor.
