Michael Camp’s Jeopardy! Performance Earns Him Another Appearance

The Homewood-Flossmoor High School spanish teacher earned a wild card spot in the second round of the Teachers Tournament.

HOMEWOOD, IL -- Michael Camp, the Homewood-Flossmoor High School spanish teacher who earned a spot in the Teachers Tournament on Jeopardy!, finished in second place on Thursday’s show to earn a wild card spot in the second round of the tournament.

Camp had a total of $14,800 on the show, according to a Daily Southtown report. He provided the correct response in the Final Jeopardy! Round but did not earn enough money to win. His final response was “avant-garde” in the category of “foreign words and phrases.”
