Motorcyclist Killed In Crash At 182nd And Halsted
A man on a motorcycle died Saturday after colliding with a car at 182nd and Halsted in Homewood.

HOMEWOOD, IL - A motorcyclist was killed over the weekend in Homewood after a crash in the 18200 block of South Halsted, according to police. The fatal victim of the Saturday crash has been identified as Kyle Ladewig.
Homewood police say Ladewig was the driver of a motorcycle headed southbound on Halsted at 10:11 a.m. when he collided with a Nissan Altima that was turning northbound into a parking lot.
Ladewig was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn before he was pronounced deceased, according to police. The driver of the Nissan was not injured.

A day later, another motorcyclist was killed in a separate crash on Halsted in Chicago.
An investigation into the Saturday crash is underway by the Homewood Police Department Criminal Investigations Unit, which is getting help from the Suburban Major Accident Reconstruction Team. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to call the Homewood Police Department Criminal Investigations Unit at 708-206- 3420.
