FLOSSMOOR, IL — The new leadership team at the Flossmoor Police Department will soon be in place, as new Police Chief Tod Kamleiter announced his appointments to the deputy chief and police commander positions. Former administrative Sgt. Clint Wagner will be the new deputy chief and former Sgt. Keith Taylor will be the new police commander once they are sworn in during the Jan. 6, 2020 village board meeting.

“These appointments are part of the larger picture we’re creating for succession planning,” Kamleiter said. “By putting people in the right positions, we start to get a clear direction for the future of the department and the Village will have options to promote from within, if they choose.”

Wagner joined the Flossmoor Police Department in 2001 while Taylor joined in 2009.
