New Polling Place For Some H-F Voters

HOMEWOOD/FLOSSMOOR, IL - New polling places are in effect for this Election Day in Cook County. Of the 53 precincts with changes in polling place locations, three will effect some voters in Homewood and Flossmoor.

Voters in Rich Precinct 11, Rich Precinct 31 and Rich Precinct 34 who may be accustomed to voting at the Woodlands Community Church in Homewood will now need to vote at the Calvary Assembly Of God located at 18620 Governors Highway in Flossmoor come Election Day, which is Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Polls will be open on Election Day from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Suburban Cook County residents can find their assigned polling location by entering their home address in the search bar on the Cook County Clerk's website as well as a sample ballot.

Early voting in the 2018 Gubernatorial Election ends on Nov. 5. Find early voting locations and hours. Voters do not need to provide an excuse or reason why they cannot vote on Election Day. A government-issued, valid ID is not required but is helpful if there is a question about your voter registration.

You can Register to Vote at ALL Early Voting Sites. Any voter registering for the first time or filing an address change must present two forms of ID, one of which shows the voter's current address.

Suburban Cook County voters have the option of voting at any Early Voting site in suburban Cook County or at the Clerk's downtown Chicago office. They can take advantage of a new feature to make the Early Voting experience quicker and easier, the Early Voting Wait Time Viewer. Viewable either on desktop computers or mobile devices, the Wait Time Viewer on the clerk's office website provides visitors to the page with an interactive map that will show the wait time – if any – at each of suburban Cook County's Early Voting sites. The site updates every 20 minutes.
