No UFO Sightings In Homewood For 15 Years
The village was the only municipality in Cook or Will counties not to have one documented sighing from 2001 to 2015.

HOMEWOOD, IL -- A data-driven study that looked at all reported UFO sightings in the United States of America revealed that not one sighting was reported in Homewood over a 15-year period.
Homewood was the only municipality in either Cook or Will counties in Illinois not to have recorded a sighting between the start of 2001 and end of 2015, according to Costa and Costa - the group that published the “UFO Sightings Desk Reference” book on their findings.
Homewood, a village with a population of nearly 20,000 as of the most recent U.S. Census, is in the upper half of Cook County when it comes to population.

Interestingly, the village of Tinley Park -- not many miles west of Homewood -- has been dubbed "The UFO Capital of Chicagoland" due to its 168 sightings during the same time period.
