Parker Cross Country Runners Put in Strong Showing at Troy Invitational

The Parker cross-country team competed in the Sept. 19–20 Troy invitational for the first time. This year saw 61 teams compete in 6 different races.
Parker runners enjoyed success on many levels. In the 6th grade girls race Ella Michel finished 44th to lead the 6th grade girls team to 33rd in the team standings. In the 6th grade boys race Justus Zillman finished 63rd to lead the 6th grade boys to a 17th place finish. The 7th grade girls finished 9th as a team and were led by Jane Bachus in 60th place. The 7th grade boys finished 3rd as a team and were led by Jeron Burns in 14th place. The 8th grade girls finished 15th led by Allison Faoro’s 48th place finish and the 8th grade boys finished 16th led by Xavier Frazier’s 22nd place overall.
