Parker Cross Country Team Takes Top Spot at Weekend Invitational

The Parker cross-country team battled the weather and 9 other teams at this weekend’s James Hart Invitational. The Parker girls tied for first and took 2nd by a tie breaker. Allison Faoro took 4th overall in 14:02, Jane Bachus took 7th in14:24, Jasmyn Hunter took 9th in 14:27, Karen Opara took 18th in 14:58, Anna Thompson took 19th in 14:59, Jackie Klupchak 26th in 15:19 and Mia Pravdic took 31st in 15:58. The boys team took 1st overall and were led by Xavier Frazier who took 3rd in a time of 12:16, Eric Gerecke finished 5th in 12:23, Jeron Burns was 6th in 12:27, Joe Sullivan 10th in 12:40, Jacob Goldberg 12 in 12:46, Devin Gorton 14th in 12:54 and Ian Barrow was 16th in 12:58.
