Serving the community for more than 50 years, the hospital provides wellness care and comprehensive medical care to pets throughout southeast Chicago and northwest Indiana. The practice is dedicated to delivering personalized, high-quality treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of every animal and their parents. The hospital offers a wide range of services, including wellness exams, vaccinations, spay, neuter, declaw, and other routine surgical procedures, orthopedic and other more complex soft tissue procedures-internal and external, dental radiographs with ultrasonic dental cleaning, periodontal procedures, tooth extractions, and advanced diagnostic testing- including abdominal ultrasound. More complex surgeries include but are not limited to orthopedic -fracture repair options, patella luxation repair, hip dysplasia surgical options, and bone biopsy; abdominal- cystotomy, splenectomy, enterotomy, intestinal resection and anastomosis, gastropexy, and abdominal organ biopsy; oral- soft palate resection, oral tumors; and ears- TECA (total ear canal ablation)surgical procedures. Cardiac ultrasound services are also offered in partnership with a board-certified veterinary cardiologist group-Synchrony which provides more cost effective and timely diagnostics. They also use a combination of Western, Integrative, and Eastern medicine to provide the best options for pets and extend their quality of life. Patients can expect a compassionate, collaborative environment where pet owners are actively involved in their companion's treatment strategy. To support accessible care, the hospital offers Snout Wellness Plans for preventive health through all life stages, flexible payment options through Cherry and more affordable options than many corporate, speciality, and emergency hospitals offer. Whether seeking routine check-ups, vaccinations or specialized medical attention, clients can rely on the hospital's experienced staff for knowledgeable and friendly support. Urgent care hours are from 5-6pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday with routine wellness and vaccination visits during this time as well.

We achieve this through nutritious food, wellness checks, and the power of human connection, but we cannot do it alone. The Power of Our Volunteers Our volunteers are the heartbeat of MOWFNI. If you have just two hours a week to spare, you can make a profound difference. Delivering meals fits seamlessly into a midday routine or lunch break. As a volunteer driver, you do far more than hand over a meal; you provide a friendly smile, a warm conversation, and a crucial safety check for a senior who might not see anyone else that day. We offer flexible scheduling that allows you to volunteer weekly, monthly, or as part of a team with coworkers or friends. —Submitted by Cross Country Coach Mark EichenlaubParker's cross country team headed to Bolingbrook last weekend, for the IESA Cross-Country Sectionals where 13 teams from the southwest suburbs met to face off with their top 7 overall girls and top 7 overall boys for 2 miles. Parker Junior High's cross-country team enjoyed the great weather en route to a number of school record-breaking performances!The girls shattered a number of team records (all 7 girls were in the 13s!) to finish 5th as a team. Jasmyn Hunter was the top Parker girl finishing 18th overall in 13:05 to qualify for state! Xavier Frazier (3rd overall in a Parker record 10:59!), Devin Gorton (7th in 11:10) and Eric Gerecke (8th in 11:10) were all All-Sectional to lead the boys team to 2nd overall (Parker's best boys finish ever in a Sectional meet!) and a trip to the State meet next weekend in Normal, Illinois against 23 other top schools.
