Party City Employee Stole From Cash Register: Police Blotter

Theft
Emerald Tigner, 30, of Riverdale was charged with theft $500 and under at Party City, 17810 S. Halsted St. at 12:42 p.m. on Oct. 30. Tigner, while employed by the merchant, took possession of currency that should have gone into the cash register.

Cynthia McLain, 44, of Worth was charged with theft over $500 at 3:22 p.m. on Oct. 30 at Home Depot, 17845S. Halsted St. McLain, while employed by the merchant, processed fraudulent return transactions and took custody of the currency, which totaled over $500.
DUI

Kurt Nichols, 58, of the 17500 block of Dixmoor Drive was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage after a traffic crash at Dixie Highway and Maple at 9:57 p.m. on Oct. 31.
Retail Theft
Glen Escobedo, 51, of Markham was charged with retail theft at Kohl's, 17620 Halsted at 4:21 p.m. on Oct. 26. Escobedo concealed items and past the final point of purchase without making payment for the merchandise, which had a total retail value of $120.
