Michael Wexler has died of injuries sustained during the crash in Homewood, according to reports from his family.
A Homewood man who was struck by a car while crossing the street Saturday has died, according to reports from his family.
Michael Wexler, 52, died of his injuries sustained when he was struck crossing 183rd Street. He was reportedly crossing near 183rd Street and Gottschalk Avenue when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle around 12:45 p.m.
The crash remains under investigation.
