Porkchop Restaurants are "Turning Water into Whiskey"

Donate to their Clean Water For Flint Drive

Porkchop Restaurants in Chicago are “turning water into whiskey” in an effort to help the residents of Flint, Michigan.

On Thursday, February 25th, three Porkchop Restaurants will be hosting a Clean Water for Flint drive to help with the relief efforts for the folks of Flint, Michigan. Porkchop is asking people to donate a case of water to their Clean Water for Flint drive by simply dropping off a case of water on Thursday, February 25th from 4:00 pm to 10pm to any three of their restaurant locations. In exchange for their kindness and generosity, they will receive a whiskey drink for only one penny.

With the tragic water situation going on in Flint Michigan, Porkchop would like to give back. “We are asking our customers to donate a case of bottled water in exchange for whiskey,” explains Jovanis Bouargoub, owner of Porkchop Restaurants. “Essentially, we’re ‘turning water into whiskey’ for a good cause,” says Bouargoub.
