Retail Theft Report: Walmart, Kohl's, Walgreens In 4-Day Span
Retail theft arrests were made at the Kohl's, Walgreens and Walmart stores in Homewood in a four-day span.

HOMEWOOD, IL — In the latest string of retail theft reports in Homewood, three stores were victimized over a four-day span from Feb. 9 to Feb. 12. Homewood police made arrests in each case.
On Feb. 9 at 10 p.m. at Walmart, 17550 S. Halsted St. police arrested Darrione Polk, 18, of the 18800 block of South Loomis Avenue in Homewood. Police said Polk "concealed items and passed the final point of purchase without making payment for the merchandise," which was valued at $283.43.
On Feb. 10 at 11:58 a.m. at Kohl's, 17620 S. Halsted St. police arrested Charisa Harris, 24, of Chicago and Mikia Sullivan, 25, of Chicago. They said Harris and Sullivan "placed items in the Kohl’s mesh shopping bags and passed the final point of purchase without making payment for the merchandise." Sullivan had items valued at $553. Harris had items valued at $395.

On Feb. 12 at 10:45 a.m. at Walgreens, 820 W. 183rd St. police arrested Jeremy Hill, 34, of Joliet. Hill is accused of hiding store-owned items and leaving with them without paying. Those items were valued at $254.95, police said.
