Motorcyclist Killed In Two-Vehicle Crash Saturday: Homewood Police
A motorcycle and a car were involved in a fatal crash Saturday morning at Ridge Road and Halsted Street in Homewood, police said.
HOMEWOOD, IL — Homewood Police are on the scene of a fatal crash Saturday morning at the intersection of Ridge Road and Halsted Street. A 67-year-old male riding a motorcycle was killed in a two-vehicle crash with a Kia car, police said.
The identity of the driver has not been released pending notification of family members. The driver and passengers of the Kia were not injured, police said.
The circumstances of the crash are under investigation by the Homewood Police Department Criminal Investigations Unit with assistance from the Suburban Major Accident Reconstruction Team (SMART).

Anyone who may have witnessed the traffic crash is asked to contact the Homewood Police Department at 708/206-3420.
As of 10:15 a.m., roads were closed while police investigate. Residents were asked to avoid the area and re-route.
