Teens Accused Of Robbing Man At Ford Heights ATM
Sheriff's police say a man was robbed at gunpoint while trying to withdraw money from an ATM on Cottage Grove Avenue in Ford Heights.

FORD HEIGHTS, IL – Two teenagers are accused of robbing a man who was trying to withdraw money from an ATM in Ford Heights last week. Cook County Sheriff's police over the weekend announced the arrests of the pair, one a 17-year-old boy and the other 19-year-old Javonte Miles of South Chicago Heights.
Police in Chicago Heights arrested both suspects on Aug. 8, the day Sheriff's police say a man was robbed while at the ATM in the 21700 block of Cottage Grove Avenue around 8:55 a.m.
One of the offenders showed a handgun, at which time the victim complied and gave the two his cash.

Both Miles and the juvenile have been charged with armed robbery. Miles had a bond set at $250,000 when he appeared at the Markham Courthouse for his initial appearance on the charge Friday.
