Marian Catholic Student Earns Scholarship To Yale

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — A senior at Marian Catholic High School will attend Yale University on a full four-year scholarship. John Hatcher of Sauk Village is one of only 1,127 high school seniors nationally this year to be admitted to one of the nation's best colleges through the Questbridge National College Match program. Nearly 15,000 students applied.

Hatcher is a member of Marian Catholic’s speech team and has distinguished himself as an advocate for those in need and an activist for the injustice he sees, the school said in a news release.
