The James Hart Drama Club presents zany dramatization of popular young adult novel Oct. 24th & 25th.

The James Hart Drama Club brings Daniel Pinkwater’s book, The Snarkout Boys and the Avocado of Death, to the District 153 stage on October 24th and 25th.

The Snarkout Boys and the Avocado of Death tells the story of Walter and Winston, two teenage misfits who regularly sneak out to the all-night movie theater. While “snarking out,” they have all kinds of adventures and meet an assortment of oddballs--including a girl named Rat. They even help track down a mad scientist and save the earth from alien real estate agents.

Adapted by James Sie from Pinkwater’s young adult novel, the play is a zany, gripping urban adventure that’s sure to delight both kids and adults.
