Kaitlyn Shereyk picked a perfect time to find her home run stroke.

Shereyk, a sophomore, hit two home runs and drove in three runs in Homewood-Flossmoor's 4-1 regional championship softball victory over Stagg. Her first homer was a two-run shot in the top of the first inning.

Adrienne Contreras drove in one run for the Vikings. Alex Bitto and Brie Cimino each went 2-for-3. And Sarah Burke struck out five.
