SSC Board Votes Not to Expand Conference
South Suburban Conference currently includes eight high school districts in the south suburbs.
At its November 16 meeting, the South Suburban Conference (SSC) Superintendents Board met to determine if the conference should expand its membership. The conference currently includes Lemont District 210, Thornton Fractional District 215, Argo District 217, Community High School District 218, Reavis District 220, Bremen District 228, Oak Lawn District 229, and Evergreen Park District 231. After much discussion the Superintendents voted 8-0 against the expansion of the Conference.
