A Successful Conclusion for Parker Cross-Country at State

The Parker Cross Country team completed their season this past Saturday at the IESA State Meet in Normal, Illinois.

The girls placed 15th (out of well over one hundred schools) and were led by Parker's highest individual placer ever in Naima Douglas. Naima earned All-State honors, and placed 3rd in a school record time of 11:39 for two miles. Grace Mullin placed 56th in 12:36, Emily Thompson placed 143rd in 13:10, Noelle Dolan placed 149th in 13:14, Mia Caporale placed 173rd in 13:29, Maddy Levy placed 204th in 13:46, and Eva Marete placed 213th in 13:52.

The boys brought home a trophy, earning 3rd place, and were led by All State Runners Habtamu Epley (4th overall in 10:23 - Parker record!) and John Hockenberry (7th place overall in 10:47). Eric Johnson placed 57th in 11:26, Damarion Best placed 111th in 11:43, Matthius Douglas placed 114th in 11:44, Nelson Speaks placed 160th in 11:58, and Jordan Easterling placed 210th in 12:29. Great job Falcons!
