Suspect Brandishes Gun, Makes Threats During Domestic Disturbance: Park Forest PD
The incident unfolded in the 200 block of Krotiak Street early Monday, Park Forest police said.
PARK FOREST, IL — A suspect who brandished a firearm and made threats of violence during a domestic disturbance in Park Forest Monday was unable to be located, police told Patch.
At around 4:10 a.m. Monday, Park Forest police investigated a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of Krotiak Street. Officials say the people involved reportedly brandished a firearm and made threats during the disturbance. No injuries to anyone involved were reported, police said.
The suspect was not located at the scene, police told Patch, and their whereabouts are currently unknown. Police said there is no threat to the public, calling it an isolated incident.

The Park Forest Police Department requested the assistance of the South Suburban Emergency Response Team (SSERT) due to the report of multiple firearms being in the offender’s possession. Detectives from the Park Forest Police Department and SSERT responded to the area and were still attempting to apprehend the suspect several hours later.
