SYSO offers $30/month String Lessons

Suburban Youth Symphony Orchestra, a Not for Profit, Offers an "Incredible Opportunity" for Beginning String Students

Does your child want to learn to play a violin, viola, or cello?

Is your child between the ages of 9 and 13? Is your child attending school, public or private that does not have a string program offered?

Suburban Youth Symphony Incredible Opportunity Program begins a new session on September 13th, 2015.

If a student wishes to be one of 20 students selected this year for September through April 2016 to learn to play a string instrument through weekly group instruction on Sundays for $30 per month including instrument rental, the student submits a ½-1 page essay: “Why I Want to Play (violin, viola, or cello)” . If the essay is selected, the student receives weekly instruction and instrument rental for $30 per month. Sessions are held weekly from 3:00-4:00PM. Deadline for essay submission is September 27th, 2015.
