Teen Accused of Breaking Into Cars
Police say the 18-year-old has been connected to Tuesday morning incidents in Flossmoor and Hazel Crest.

FLOSSMOOR, IL - An 18-year-old Flossmoor man has been charged in connection with a series of Tuesday morning car burglaries in Flossmoor and Hazel Crest.
Police arrested Joel Brooks Tuesday after he allegedly broke into and burglarized more than 20 cars in the two south suburbs, according to a report from CBS-Chicago.
Brooks had a stolen gun on him when he was arrested after a witness allegedly spotted him breaking into a car in Hazel Crest, police said. He was also accused of using a gun in one of the Flossmoor incidents.
