Dear Reader,

Each new day offers a quiet invitation to begin again. Before getting swept into the rhythm of your morning, pause for a moment. Observe the simple fact that you woke up. Let that be enough.

Gratitude often lives in the ordinary moments we often move through without noticing. As you move through your day, see if you can carry threads of gratitude with you. Clean, running water. Fresh food. Electricity. The comfort of your clothes. The presence of someone you love, or even the memory of connection.

And if the day feels heavy or you forget, that is part of being human. You can always return to gratitude with the next breath. The next pause. The next small moment of awareness.

With love and gratitude,
Liz

Inspire | “To listen is to lean in, softly, with a willingness to be changed by what we hear.” Marc Nepo

Listen | I absolutely love Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast… especially this episode with Nick Offerman. If you have some time this week, give it a listen, and let me know what you think.

Try This | Before your feet touch the floor each morning this week, pause and softly say “thank you” three times. This is a simple way to ground yourself before the day begins and shift the tone of your approach to what lies ahead.

What are you grateful for in this moment?
