Village Of Flossmoor: Accident Update On Flossmoor Road And Governors Highway

July 12, 2021

At 9:53 a.m. on July 12, 2021, a single vehicle collision occurred in the 2900 block of Flossmoor Road. A 2016 Toyota sport utility vehicle left the roadway for unknown reasons and collided with two pedestrians and a tree. One pedestrian was seriously injured and the other suffered minor injuries. The elderly driver of the Toyota was suffered minor injuries sustained in the collision. All three persons involved were transported to area hospitals for their injuries by the Flossmoor Fire Department. The Flossmoor Police Department and the Suburban Major Accident Reconstruction Team will be conducting this traffic crash investigation.
