Village Of Flossmoor, H-F Park District Want Community Input On Future Use Of South Commuter Lot

FLOSSMOOR, IL — The Village of Flossmoor and the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District are partnering to envision a new future for the underutilized Flossmoor South Commuter lot and want to hear directly from residents.

A joint Community Input Meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Flossmoor Village Hall, 2800 Flossmoor Road, Flossmoor. The purpose of the meeting is to gather creative ideas, feedback, and suggestions from the community on how to transform a majority of the current commuter parking lot into a vibrant, functional community space.

To help bring these ideas to life, the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District is actively assisting the Village of Flossmoor in applying for a development grant.
