Village of Flossmoor, Police Department To Host National Night Out
The August 2 event gives citizens an opportunity to connect with law enforcement officers and learn more about what they do.

Flossmoor, IL — National Night Out Against Crime returns to Flossmoor on August 2, giving residents a chance to get an inside view of law enforcement, meet officers, and get an up-close look at what they do.
The Flossmoor Police Department joins law enforcement agencies across the country with the Village's annual National Night Out from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Parker Junior High School, 2800 Flossmoor Rd.
National Night Out events are part of a push to strengthen police and community relations. The nationwide event "promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer," according to the National Association of Town Watch, the organization that founded the annual early August event in 1984.
