The Village of Flossmoor is working with the Chicago Metropolitan Planning Agency (CMAP) to review all of the public roads in the community and develop a local road safety plan (LRSP). The plan will contain recommendations for safety-related improvements to roadway infrastructure, as well as recommendations for ways to improve the behavior of all roadway users, including motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians.
Local residents and stakeholders have the most experience using our local roadways, so a necessary component of creating the LRSP is seeking feedback from the community. Completing a short survey and providing location information through the interactive map is your way to get involved and provide valuable input to the LRSP. The survey is open through September 18. The survey asks you to rank and comment on your roadway safety concerns.
