Volunteer Opportunities Available at Ingalls

If you’ve got extra time in your schedule and are looking for meaningful ways to share your talents, Ingalls Health System has several volunteer opportunities available.

Ingalls currently has volunteer openings in the following areas: greeting/registration at Ingalls Care Center in Crestwood; and greeting, rehabilitation, Senior Life and the Ingall Nook gift shop at the main hospital campus in Harvey.

“At Ingalls, we value our ability to help the south suburban community with health and wellness services,” explains Rachel Jones, Manager, Auxiliary/Senior Life, Main Information & Pastoral Services at Ingalls. “In return, our neighbors help us by donating their time.”

For nearly 70 years, area residents have volunteered at Ingalls. In any given year, people donate more than 44,000 hours of their time in a wide range of activities.

“We ask our volunteers to give us one day a week for four hours,” Jones added.
