Wag Your Tail Wednesdays Begin at the Indiana Welcome Center

Wag Your Tail Wednesdays kicked off at the Indiana Welcome Center the evening of November 23.

Wag Your Tail Wednesdays kicked off at the Indiana Welcome Center the evening of November 23. Annie and Sandy from Theatre at the Center’s holiday musical Annie Warbucks were first in line to get their photo taken with Santa to kick things off. This special visit marked the first of four Wag Your Tail Wednesdays. The events will continue through the holiday season from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on November 30, December 14 and December 21. At the Wag Your Tail Wednesdays events, pet parents can bring in their dogs and cats for a holiday photo with Santa. Photos are $6 each.

Annie and Sandy were on hand to promote Theatre at the Center’s heart-warming holiday musical Annie Warbucks. Annie Warbucks, the sequel to Annie, the 1977 Tony Award-winning smash Broadway hit, runs now through December 18. Based on Harold Gray’s Little Orphan Annie comic strip, the book is by Thomas Meehan with music by Charles Strouse and lyrics by Martin Charnin. Annie Warbucks opened Off Broadway in 1993 and broke records for the time with 200 performances.

The Indiana Welcome Center is located at 7770 Corinne Dr, Hammond, IN 46323For more information on Wag Your Tail Wednesdays, contact the South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority at 219-989-7770 or visit their holiday website at www.AChristmasStoryComesHome.com.
