Walmart Bans Violated, Speedway Threats: Homewood Police Blotter
The most recent arrest reports in Homewood also include an incident of deceptive practice at Best Buy.

Criminal Trespass To Property
Jonathan Green, 27, of Chicago Heights was charged with criminal trespass to property at 4 p.m. on Nov. 1 at Walmart, 17550 S. Halsted St. Green entered the property after having been given prior notice that he was not allowed on the premises.

Paul Bryant, 43, of Lansing was charged with retail theft and criminal trespass to real property at 10:27 a.m. on Nov. 4 at Walmart, 17550 S. Halsted St. Bryant concealed items and exited the store without making payment for the merchandise, which had a total retail value of $57.02. Bryant was given prior notice that he was not allowed on the premises.

Bryant Davis, 28, of Chicago of Chicago was charged with possession of fraudulent identification with intent to use and Ronnie Weathersby, 30, of Chicago with identity theft at 5:25 p.m. on Nov. 3 at Best Buy, 17800 S. Halsted St. Davis presented fraudulent identification that contained personal information, that he did not have authorization to use, to make a purchase. Weathersby had in his possession a fraudulent driver’s license with personal information of another person.
Disorderly Conduct
Brandon Jackson, 36, of Glenwood was charged with assault, breach of peace and disorderly conduct at 2 a.m. on Nov. 4 at Speedway, 18002 S. Halsted St. Jackson caused a disturbance inside the business and made verbal threats to an employee.
Identity Theft
Felicia Blunt, 28, of Hazel Crest was charged with identity theft at Walmart, 17550 S. Halsted St. at 3:24 p.m. on Nov. 2. Blunt used another individual’s personal information without their knowledge or consent to open accounts and purchase Apple products.
Retail Theft
Courtney Landers, 20, of Chicago Heights was charged with retail theft at 1:41 p.m. on Nov. 5 at Kohl's, 17620 S. Halsted St. Landers concealed items and passed the final point of purchase without making payment for the merchandise, which had a total retail value of $221.
Joseph Palmer, 70, of Chicago Heights was charged with retail theft at Walt's, 2345 W. 183rd St. at 3:20 p.m. on Jan. 7. Palmer placed items in a shopping cart and exited the store without making payment for the merchandise, which had a total retail value of $168.05.
