Western Avenue School Names Former CPS Teacher As Principal
Lisa Dallacqua takes over the post Chad Prosen held for four years.

FLOSSMOOR, IL - Western Avenue School in Flossmoor has named Lisa Dallacqua as its next principal. Dallacqua was confirmed by the board of education at the most recent Flossmoor School District 161 school board meeting, according to a report from the Homewood-Flossmoor Chronicle.
Before coming to D161, Dallacqua was a district coordinator for the Bloom Township High School District 206. Before that, she was a teacher and principal for Chicago Public Schools for 10 years.
“I am so excited to be a part of the community. Being the principal at Western Avenue is a true honor,” she said. “There are high expectations at this school. I am looking forward to working with teachers, families and staff to meet those expectations.”

Dallacqua will replace former Principal Chad Prosen, who resigned after four years on the job recently to accept a principal position in Oak Brook.
