WGN Morning News Bringing Show To Homewood
The WGN Morning News crew will broadcast live from downtown Homewood on Friday, July 13.

HOMEWOOD, IL - WGN Morning News will broadcast live from Homewood for a Friday the 13th special that will include a block party atmosphere with family fun and local TV personalities.
The show's broadcast from 6-10 a.m. on Friday, July 13 will air live from the area of Ridge Road and Martin Avenue in downtown Homewood. Expect some street closures and traffic backups in the area as a result.
Better Than Ezra will perform live at the event. Other forms of entertainment will be carnival games, a bounce house, races and a parade.

Chicago White Sox play-by-play announcer Jason Benetti and WGN reporter Ben Bradley, both alums of Homewood-Flossmoor High School, plan to be there for the local celebration.
