Winning Ticket Pulled In Glenwood Academy Queen Of Hearts Game

A Florida woman who grew up in Homewood took home more than $27,000 as the raffle winner.

HOMEWOOD, IL — A Homewood native who lives in Florida is the winner of the Glenwood Academy Queen of Hearts raffle at the Fifth Quarter Press Room and Eatery in Homewood. Sheila Rinearson of Clearwater, Florida has been presented a check for $27,910, half the amount of the $55,820 jackpot.

Glenwood Academy, a private residential community for students in grades second through eighth with a high school residential option through a partnership with three area high schools, will get the other half of the jackpot.

The school plans to launch another Queen of Hearts raffle starting with a $10,000 jackpot in the coming weeks.
