Women And Infants Center At Advocate South Suburban Renovated
Advocate Health recently unveiled an $8.7 million renovation that features new private rooms, surgical suites and recovery suites.

HAZEL CREST, IL — Renovations to the Advocate South Suburban Hospital Women and Infants Center were unveiled this week. Community members were given tours of the center, enjoyed refreshments, giveaways and raffles and met physicians, clinical staff and hospital leadership during a grand opening Monday night.
The $8.7 million renovation features 16 private rooms, four semi-private triage rooms for outpatient testing, two surgical suites and two recovery suites among other amenities.
Sharon Otten, interim hospital president and chief nursing officer, said the renovation not only modernized "the look and feel of the unit," but more importantly was “to provide a safe, soothing and healing environment for women at all different stages of their lives, as well as their infants.”
