The Brass Quintet showcases extraordinary instrumental entertainment with a bit of
Dixieland, classic brass, movie and pops music. The group's instrumentation is comprised of the trumpet, trombone, french horn, and tuba and continues to provide outstanding musical, as well as, educational performances.

Brass Works is comprised of highly sought-after instrumentalists who have appeared with Tony Bennett, Natalie Cole, Ray Charles, Al Jarreau, B.B. King, Michael Bolton, and many other luminaries.

Members have appeared in numerous CD, television, and radio recording projects, as well as the
Lyric Opera, Chicago Jazz Ensemble, Chicago Jazz Philharmonic and Chicago Jazz Orchestras, plus the Chicago, Elgin, and Rockford Symphony Orchestras, among others

Brass Works provides academic programs and its mission is to enhance student academic achievement and life skills through supportive mentoring and by developing and implementing standards-based curricula.
