Huntley Artfest - "Fine Arts Festival returns"

In 2011 Huntley witnessed the birth of its First Fine Arts Festival.  Huntley Arfest had its challenges last year, Mother Nature saw to that.  Yet we made it through the worst Storm of the year - 15 minutes before Artfest's grand opening.

Our Field of Dreams was a bit soggy... but what happened later that Saturday was short of a miracle... as many artist simply stated " Artfest is a Festival with a heart and put on by people who care" "The promoters did so many things right for a first time Artfair.

Huntley Artfest is sponsored by the First Congregational Church of Huntley,... yet no one believed a church could do such an awesome job in presenting a "Fine Arts Festival" of such a high caliber.  Needless to say... we knew Huntley Artfest 2012 would be a reality, and it is.

The Artist are excited coming from Missouri, Illinois, Michigan, Iowa, Wisconsin and Indiana. (for artist interested... booth space is still available, but going fast applications found at http://www.huntleyartfest.org)  The entertainment stage is already filled providing two days of a wide vairety of music and dance,.. New Food Vendors have asked "do you have space left for us?"  When things are done right... all want to participate.

Over the coming months, we will continue to let you know all that Huntley Artfest has to offer... but do mark your calendars NOW, so as not to forget.  This is a Festival built around the Family, Huntley and our surrounding communities.
