Illinois is among lowest screening rates for Colon Cancer according to CDC report
CDC reported/Chart shows that Illinois is among the worst group-with lowest Colon Cancer screening.Michigan is ahead by 15%.

CDC recently updated its geographical chart for Colon Cancer.
Screening rate,Incidence rate,death rate.
Illinois screening rate was 55% compared 70% in Michigan.

Their data also showed that incidence rate for USA(not Illinois)
for under 54-- 18.6%
Over 54 -- 81.4%
55-64--20.4%
65-74---24%
75-84 --25%
over 85-- 12.0%
Insurance pays for over 50,but people under 50 have to show family history or some symptom to get OK for payment by insurance.

Dr.OZ discovered a Polyp at 50 in his Colon.He told Larry King on CNN in 2010--Everyone needs to be screened.
His Reason: 1 in 4 or 25% have polyp --over the age of 50.
So your chances shoot up after 50.
Afro Americans have the highest Colon Cancer,followed by White.Asians are the lowest.Hispanics are in the middle.
