Walgreen's Warriors - Team Captain

Like most people who do relay, I have 3 sets of clothes, Work, Church and Relay....and I am ususally in Relay gear.

I have been involved with ACS for the past 20 years, between Relay, Strides, Gala, Rooftop Siorie, and The Chicago Marathon Team Determination, as well as previous Ambassador for the State of Wisconsin for both Celebrations on the Hill in Washington DC. I was Advocacy Chair 6 years and Community Leader for the 1st District inWisconsin with all the Town Hall meetings and community events. In 2005 I participated in 36 Relay events in 36 different states. I wanted to make all 50 states in my lifetime. I still have 3 states left to participate in. I was blessed a few years ago to walk with Dr. Klatt, he is an amazing man. My sister lives in Washington State so I asked her to get me the info and invited myself out and I got my sister involved in the event in her community. We can make a difference if we set our mind to it, and we will find a cure...........2015 isn't far away and we have made great strides. We just need to continue the fight. One step at a time.....
