Chesak/Martin Host Chili Cook Off

Think your chili recipe is the best? Put it to the test!

The Chesak/Martin PTA Chili Cook Off is being held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4 in the Martin cafeteria, 10920 Reed Road.

There’s no fee to enter thanks to an anonymous donation, said Dana Wiley, president of Chesak/ Martin PTA. The event is free.

The PTA will award first, second and third place prizes plus cash prize for Taster’s Choice, she said.

You don’t have to be a seasoned chef to be in the cook off, first timers are welcome. To compete, check out the rules here.

If you want to cook and compete in the contest or just want to eat or have fun with your kids, you are bound to have fun.
