Computer Tampering Investigated

Huntley police release police blotter.

A Huntley resident told police someone tampered with his computer, reports stated.

The victim, who lives in the 11800 block of Dundee Road, reported someone tampered with the computer and deleted his business records from his e-mail account, police said.

An investigation into the tampering is continuing.

In other police reports released this week:

-Azm W. Hussain, 62, of 247 Lincoln Parkway, Crystal Lake, was arrested and charged with battery and disorderly conduct on April 7, police said. Hussain posted bond and was released with a McHenry County Court date of May 13.

-Toni M. Jaehnig,19, of 11289 Timer Drive, Huntley, was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor on April 10, police said. Jaehnig was released with a court date of May 9.

-A 15-year-old male from Huntley was arrested and charged with two counts of domestic battery on April 8, police said.  The juvenile was released to his parents and will be petitioned into juvenile court.

-A fraud report was taken in the 11100 block of Church Street on April 7.  The victim states that an unknown person posed as a relative over the phone and asked her wire transfer money to him, police said.

-A fraud report was taken in the 9800 block of Grimley Drive on April 8 where a victim states that fraudulent charges were made to her credit card and debit card, police said.

-Jose Villagomez-Gosca, 33, of 1640 Meyer St., Elgin, was arrested and charged with driving while license revoked and was cited for no valid safety test and no proof of insurance on April 7, police said. Villagomez-Gosca posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of May 13.

-A criminal damage to property report was taken in the 10900 block of Heartland Lane on April 7, according to reports.  The victim states that her mailbox was damaged.

- Jonathan E. Turmo, 42, of Rockford, was arrested and charged with driving while license revoked and cited for disobeying a traffic control signal on April 9. Turmo posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of May 20.

-A residential burglary report was taken in the 9600 block of Cummings Street on April 10, but police did not release any details.
