Domestic Battery Arrest Tops Police Blotter

Theft, hit and run also reported.

ο»ΏHuntley police arrested a 60-year-old resident during an investigation into domestic battery, according to reports.

Victor R. Stupa, of 11661 Beacon Ave., faces two counts of domestic battery resulting from a Dec. 23 incident. No further information was released.

-A theft report was taken at a business in the 11800 block of Factory Shops Blvd. Dec 22.Β  A bank deposit was missing.

-Maria M. Ramirez, 23, of 240 Maple Ave, Carpentersville, was arrested for a hit and run Dec. 23, police said. Ramirez posted bond and was released with a McHenry County court date of Jan. 28.

- A criminal damage to property report was taken in the 11300 block of Timer Drive Dec. 26.Β  A front door was damaged.

-Brianna R. Peter, 18, of 21013 West Coral, Marengo, was arrested Dec. 22 for consumption of alcohol by a minor and was cited for disobeying a traffic signal, according to police.Β  In the same incident Karissa R. Montanez, 18, of 600 N. East St. #5, Marengo,Β  was arrested for consumption of alcohol by a minor.Β  Both subjects were released with a notice to appear in McHenry County Circuit Court on Jan. 31.

All individuals listed as arrested or charged with a crime in this press release are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
