Senior defenseman Andy Nichols was chosen along with Recchia and Zielinski for the “All Conference” team, a group selected by the coaches of the four teams in the local conference. Senior attackman Todd Meyer received “honorable mention” consideration from conference coaches who chose the players for the honors.
The Huntley Raiders varsity team finished third in the NILAX league regular season in 2012 with a 10-4-1 record, and received a bye for the first round of the NILAX playoffs. The Raiders will face off Thursday, May 24 at 6:30 p.m. under the lights on the main field at Huntley High School. They will play the winner of today’s game between Batavia and Arlington.
