Go Raider Nation, Huntley High Makes Top 8 in Battle of the Fans Madness

Comcast's 2nd annual tournament continues this week so cast your ballot.

 

Huntley's Raider Nation fans finished in the top 8 in the first round of Comcast's 2nd Annual Battle of the Fans Madness tournament and advance to the semifinals.

Huntley is joined by Glenbard East, Mundelein, Oak-Park River Forest, Plainfield East, Simeon, St. Rita and defending champion Warren Township.

Each school was initially selected for the tournament for the excitement and enthusiasm its student section showed during appearances on the CN100 Game of the Week during the 2011-12 basketball season.

Voting for the semifinals runs from March 19-25, with the top four schools moving on to the finals. The tournament concludes with Final Four voting March 26-April 1.

The 2012 Battle of the Fans Madness champion will be crowned on April 2. The winning student section receives a special Battle of the Fans banner to display proudly as a testament to your school spirit.
