Huntley Girls Defeat Dundee-Crown on Senior Night

The losing streak is over!

Huntley girls varsity basketball ended a 5 game skid with a 46-34 home victory Wednesday night over Dundee-Crown.

Junior Haley Ream played an outstanding game at both ends of the floor. Ream led the team in scoring with 16 points, but more importantly she was the key in holding Dundee-Crown’s leading scorer, Ali Sanders, to just 9 points. 

It was a great team effort for the girls as they ended their 5 game losing streak on senior night before a home crowd.

Ream also had 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the game.

Abbey Shaw dropped in 12 points and Sam Andrews delivered 10 as the girls improved to 12-11 overall and 6-4 in the Valley Division.

Kristiana Stolzman and Kayla Linthicum each scored 3 points, and Alex Weidner added 2 points.
