Huntley Gymnastics Academy's Level 6 Team recently won first place in the USA Gymnastics state Child Division. "We are the best in the state," said Amy Krotser, owner of Huntley Gymnastics Academy(HGA).  "We beat a gym that won last year who has kids training in the Olympics so it's a big honor." The team also won second place in the State Child Division. HGA gymnasts also won first place All Around Illinois State Child Division; third place All Around Illinois State Child Division and first place All Around Illinois State Junior Division. "We have a very, very talented group of kids coming up who have shown great progression," she said, adding some will be bound for the Olympics and scholarships. This weekend, HGA gymnasts in Level 8 and 9 will travel to Bourbonnais to compete in the USA Gymnastics state meet. Huntley Gymnastics Academy (HGA) opened six months ago at 10763 Wolf Dr. in the Wolf Business Park. It already has 300 students, she said.
