Huntley High Madrigals Renaissance Dinner
Huntley High School Madrigals host festive holiday dinner Saturday.

A very, merry Medieval Christmas awaits ye and yours as Huntley High School Madrigal Choir presents its annual holiday dinner.
The Madrigal dinner is set for 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, at Pinecrest Golf Club, 11220 Algonquin Rd., Huntley, according to a District 158 press release.

Seventy-five members of Huntley High choirs will dress in period costumes for the re-enactment of a Christmas feast staged in a Renaissance castle. The king, queen and royal court promise a festive evening of song, celebration and food.
Students will sing, perform and spin stories, hoping to add inspire the spirit of the holiday season.

"It's going to be a lot of fun," Cross said. "People have to make sure to make reservations, though, as we need to get a final headcount."
Tickets are $26 per person and include full chicken dinner with soup, salad, dinner rolls, mashed potatoes, vegetables, ice cream and non-alcoholic drinks, according to the release.
Dinner guests may purchase tickets and must make reservations by contacting Huntley High School music teacher Nancy Cross by e-mail or by calling 847-659-6744.
