Huntley Hiring Contractor to Paint Water Tower

Huntley’s water towers are getting facelifts this spring.

Trustees are voting on an $85,000 contract at tonight’s village board meeting to paint water tower No. 1, located on Route 47. 

Jetco Ltd. submitted the lowest bid _which came in $90,000 under budget _ earlier this month.

Water tower No. 2, on Main Street, will also undergo get rehabbed by a different contractor.

Both towers will be painted close to the same time, Village Manager Dave Johnson said.
